Need a website? Sure, I can help. Designing a new app? I'm your guy. Online copy? Writing a book? Hell, need a commercial jingle? I'm on it. I mean, I can juggle at your kid's bar mitzvah if you really need me to. Just drop me a line.
Over the years, I've worked on all sorts of projects, from the web to film, print to performance. Scroll through to see some of the crap I've gotten myself into.
Founded in 2010, but still awaiting IRS approval for non-profit status, evensplit.org is an initiative to monetize online music and e-book sales by adding a charitable component to each sale.
Working with loop/recur, I've worked on a handful of iPhone apps, including the design for the NeoTV app from Netgear.
Have an idea for a great iPhone app, but you're not sure how to actually put it together? Send me a message!
I was honored to be asked by author Mark Woerde to assist in the writing of his exciting book, "How Advertising Will Heal the World and Your Business," available at LetsHeal.org
The book is the culmination of extensive research funded by the author that shows that people are looking for more meaning in their lives, outlining how this is an incredible opportunity for brands and businesses.
loop/recur is a web and mobile app design company based out of California. I currently work as their lead designer, taking advantage of the time-zone disparity to draft new designs while the programmers sleep.
An example of some design I've been working on recently, NJ Property Fax is a service for homeowners, buyers and sellers in New Jersey.
Besides the shiny main page, the site also includes a number of forms and various types of information and UI design.
The NJVLA was a great help in securing legal advice for the evensplit.org initiative, so when they asked for advice on updating their own website, I was more than happy to offer a redesign.
Amsterdam-based artist, Ghazaleh Abassalian, makes work that kinda speaks for itself. So, to showcase her work without a lot of distraction, I designed a minimalist, scalable site.
I'd never really considered appearing in film, but when offered a role in a short film by Icelandic director Simon Leplar, I had no choice but to give it a go.
The film offers a dreamlike atmosphere where my character, with very little dialogue, seems to hover on the edge between reality and a fever-induced vision. Better than anything Stallone ever made.
Will work for food … especially some of the best food in Amsterdam. For Small World Catering I built a website that had all the basics: a menu, hours, reviews, and an order form.
I gave the site with a nice clean style, but unfortunately, I couldn't quite get it as beautiful as their gourmet sandwiches.
